"The Divas of Literature Tour 2008"

DENIM PR hosted a Private Shopping Event and Cocktail Party in celebration of "The Divas of Literature Tour" stopping in Philadelphia late July. The tour features 5 best selling African American authors who have been selected for a multi city tour from July until September.

The Event was at the glamorous, upscale Stiletto Shoe Boutique, located in the prominent Rittenhouse Square area. Stiletto is the top destination for a fashion- forward woman who appreciates her view of the world from a slightly higher level. They are an experience that brings ladies from all backgrounds together with one thing in mind; runway brought to real life. They proudly showcase such designers as, Giuseppe Zanotti, Roberto Cavalli, Brian Atwood, Missoni, Alexander McQueen, Giambattista Valli, Sergio Rossi, Diego Dolcini, Alessandro Dell'Acqua, Le Silla, Judith Leiber, and eyewear from Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Dior, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, and YSL.

Stiletto  has also been an on- location set for television programs, (Living It Up With Patti Labelle) celebrity photo shoots, (Jill Scott's layout with Vibe Magazine) and various local fashion segments. For the Sex and the City Movie, Stiletto teamed up with DENIM Public Relations for a month long campaign and were featured on NBC10, CBS3 with Nicole Brewer, CBS3 Evening News, in the Philadelphia Inquirer and on the front page of the Metro Newspaper. Believing in the importance of giving back to the community, they are active supporters and sponsors for events with a cause, local charity and community organizations.

This year's "Divas of Literature Tour" features a star studded cast - fashion designer and NBA star Jackie & Doug Christie, filmmaker and host of BETJ's 'The Best Shorts, Abiola Abrams, Christian author and Radio Personality, Dwan Abrams,  the esteemed author, Assuanta Collins and Renee Daniel Flagler, the creator and visionary of the tour.

The Search for 5 Designers 

We are looking for designers to be a part of our "DENIM FASHION COLLECTIVE" where for a trial period, we will promote and publicize 5 outstanding and "ready" designers jointly and create events to combine all 5 lines to get equal exposure.
 
These 5 designers will be included in an intense 9 month PR Campaign leading up to the opening of DENIM PR's - DENIM Butterfly Showroom.
 
For an affordable rate, these 5 designers will be able to be included in other select campaigns and events produced by DENIM PR. After which, the designers that we feel are a fit and we enjoy working with will be offered the opportunity to be included in our DENIM Butterfly Showroom in 2009.
